This is a Fantastic Excursion! Every Island has a Jeep tour, but we combine it with our most popular Water Excursion “Guided Aqua Safari” to offer you the very best Land and Sea Experience any where in the Caribbean!
Your party is met at the Cruise Ship dock and given the keys to brand new 4 x 4 Jeeps, (4 people per jeep). We head west through Phillipsberg and the southern side of the Island stopping for scenic views and pictures! Upon arriving at our marina in Simpson Bay we park our jeeps and begin our Aqua Safari Snorkel Excursion!
For the next 2 1/2 hours you are the Captain of your own small dinghies with center piece seats and steering wheels, they are fun and easy to manage. (2 people per boat). If any in your party are uncomfortable driving or riding in our 2 person Aqua safari Boat, feel free to ride in the guide boat with the licensed captain (8 maximum).
First we do a little cruise in the Simpson Bay Lagoon to ensure that all participants are comfortable on their watercraft. The area is home to a number of marina's with luxury yachts. We exit the lagoon, adjusting our speed to pass underneath the Marigot drawbridge. We then accelerate into a breathtaking excursion along the coast, with awesome sceneries of Marigot, capital of French Saint-Martin, as well as Friar's Bay, Happy Bay and Grand Case beaches!
Once arrived at the snorkeling destination, famous Creole Rock, we get to enjoy 45 minutes of snorkeling. On our way back, we take an even longer stroll through the Simpson Bay lagoon and now get to enjoy the magnificent view of waterfront villas and condos, before returning to the dock where after a fresh water shower we board our Jeeps to continue on!
We continue our Jeep tour through Low Lands and onto the French side of the island. We stop in Marigot where we have enough time to do some shopping and sight seeing. Tempting as it might be, it is not advised to eat there because the next stop is BOOBOO JAM on ORIENT BEACH where you may enjoy St Maarten’s famous BBQ lunch and after enjoy the most famous beach in the Caribbean!
Last but not least, we leave Orient Beach and will stop along the Atlantic coast of Sint-Maarten where we can admire the scenery of our natural reserve and take some nice pictures. We end up back at the dock between 4:00 and 4:30pm!
