This is our "Normal" Tour, we can customize as you desire, more shopping, or more beach, its up to you! Our Island tour departs the cruise terminal, first stopping at Rima were guest can get an assortment of beach, resort wear and souvenirs. Rima is the biggest of its kind in the Caribbean and guest will find the prices are the very best. This first stop will be for thirty minutes. The tour will then continue along the Great salt pond in the direction of Simpson Bay and driving along side the little bay beach, at this point guests can get a photo of there cruise line and the magnificent view of great Bay harbor. Our next stop will be the famous lookout point locally known as Harold Jack, this stop permits guest a panoramic view of Simpson Bay lagoon with its many yachts and sail boats and the neighboring islands of Saba and St.Eustatias. The tour then continues west through Simpson bay, Maho, Mullet bay, Cupecoy before crossing the french side of the island. Once on the french side we will drive through terre basses, here you'll find some of the most expensive homes and villas on the island which are often times host to many a famous person. The bus then stops in Marigot the french capital for forty five minutes, here guest can visit the many shops, market or even visit the Fort Louis if able to maneuver the 90 steps up to the fort. After leaving Marigot we then head to Orient beach along the perimeter road, and driving through the restaurant village of Grand Case. Once at the beach guests can have lunch, swim or do some activities if so desired. Time at the beach Would be one hour thirty minutes. the tour will then continue through orleans quarter and terminate at the terminal approximately thirty minutes there after. The entire tour will be narrated, relevant historical info as well as present day info will be disseminated right through the tour. |
